In 2019, the Short Film Corner is expanding its activities in order to support valuable short film projects by creating the Focus WiP.

    Focus CoPro'

Dedicated to first feature film projects, the Focus CoPro' aims to help filmmakers bridging the gap from short to feature.

The chosen projects are pitched by their representatives to an audience of various Industry decision-makers (producers, distributors, sales agents, film funds, institutions and buyers) in order for them to find the support they need (coproduction, financing, potential distribution...).
To apply, the project must be already supported by a producer.

The registrations are only open to filmmakers registered at the Short Film Corner and filmmakers selected in Official Competition, Critic's Week and Director's Fortnight.
Since 2019, one of the chosen projects is part of a collaboration with Torino Short Film Market's Oltercorto program.

The Pitch Session is held on Tuesday morning, during the Short Film Corner week, and are followed by meetings with the attending decision-makers.

    Registrations starting: mid-April

    Focus WiP

The Focus WiP (Work in Progress) aims to present short film currently in production or post-production to the main Industry decision-makers such as distributors, festival programmers, institutions, films funds, producers and buyers.

The FocusWiP wants to shine a light on these shorts in progress by giving their representatives the opportunity to promote them, in order to boost the completion process and enhance the launching of their potential release on the International market.
To submit a project, the shooting process must have already begun.

The Pitch Session is held on Wednesday morning, during the Short Film Corner week, and are followed by meetings with the attending decision-makers and a private mentoring session.
